Soave

Soave is a white wine made from Garganega blended with a little Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or Trebbiano. It has a distinct almond character as well as being fresh and delicate with floral and grapey notes. Yields have to be carefully controlled to get the best from this grape on the fertile plains of the river Adige. Recioto di Soave is a sweet wine made by drying the grapes to intensify sugars.
