Product Description
These vines are in the Chiroubles Cru and are situated higher than the Fleurie vineyards of Metrat. They are over 60 years old and their roots penetrate deep into the sandy granitic soil. Vinification is mostly in cement, with 15% aged in small barrels. Gamay is at it's best here, with some baked cherry aromas and spices. The markedly full and deep palate is backed by fine, silky tannins
