Atlantic Distillery, Gorsedh Cornish Organic Gin - 5cl

Quick Overview

The Gorsedh gin is distilled using Cornish gorse flowers, had picked from Bodmin Moor. They are used alongside lime peel and a number of other botanicals to produce a gin that has a unique flavour profile amongst the Cornish gins currently on offer. Floral aromas are followed by lime citrus flavours and a hint of nuttiness. The finish is dry and subtle. It works really well with a slice of lime.

The Gorsedh, meaning Bardic assembly in Cornish, is one of two new Gins from Cornwall.

The distiller behind Atlantic Distillery is Stuart from Atlantic Brewery a man whose beers we have stocked for years. He is a producer who has a real passion for provenance and a care for where his ingredients come from.

His Ales have been certified as 100% organic by the soil association and really push the boundaries of what an Ale can be. His new gins are made with the same degree of focus and intent and are the first Certified Organic Gins from Cornwall.

This is a great addition to the Cornish Gin selection and demonstrates Stuarts skill in working with locally sourced ingredients.
