Bosue Brut Rose

The Bosue Vineyard Sparkling Rose Wine is made from the Regent grape variety. Like all the Bosue wines, all the grapes used in the production of this wine are grown on the vines from the Vineyards in St Ewe, just outside St Austell, in Cornwall.

Regent is a modern hybrid which has a high degree of disease resistance, a reliable producer with good yield of grapes, well suited to Sparkling Rose Wine Production in cool climate Cornwall.

Harvested in October, the grapes were crushed, destemmed and pressed. Cool fermentation followed by first racking off the gross lees. Cold stabilisation and gentle fining was done before secondary fermentation. The wine has then been left on lees for over 12 months before disgorging and dosage.

The Bosue Vineyard Sparkling Rose Wine has a fruit driven style. Its dry and refreshing with a clean aromatic nose and a slightly sweeter finish than its white cousin.
