Provence

Large area of vineyards, some of which are on the coast. Much of the production is roses, made from Cinsault and Grenache, though reds are increasingly being produced. Provencal rose is utterly delicious - light, dry, with subtle flavours of red berries and perhaps herbs and minerals.
