South Australia

South Australia holds 42% of the nations vineyards and makes up over 50% of annual wine output. However the vineyards all huddle in the far South-Eastern corner of the area and the great variety of wines produced is thanks to the diversity of soil interacting with the factors of altitude and site climate. Look out for classic Aussie wines Spitting Spider, for full-flavoured Chardonnay and Shiraz, discover the new world icons from Turkey Flat in the Barossa, or help us champion up and coming regions such as the Limestone Coast.
