Selected from old vines Viura vineyards located in the Sonsierra area of Rioja. This wine is a revelation! Delicious notes of ripe fruit, dates and bananas on the nose follow through to a fresh and fleshy, long and wonderfully balanced finish on the palate. This wine has seen some oak ageing, but this has been incredibly well managed here so it most definitely not of the old style white riojas that were massively over-oaked and extracted.
