Vida Viento Merlot

I am somewhat reluctant to give this wine a good rating, as it might mean that other people climb onto my bandwagon, and start drinking what might otherwise have been left for me!!
Alright, it is not a GREAT wine. but then again. it is not costing me £85 a bottle. To use Jeremy Clarkson's notion of bangs for your bucks (which I believe he first used when comparing a Jaguar 4four seater with a Ferrari four seater) I have to rate this wine as up there! For a wine that costs just £8 a bottle, it drinks like something considerably more up market.
There! I've said it. Now everybody will be rushing to buy and leave nothing in the bin for me.
